Black NZ is a premier provider of bespoke, luxury experiences across Queenstown, Nelson, and the South Island of New Zealand. Our terms are designed to ensure clarity, discretion, and an exceptional standard of service for our valued clients.
General Terms All pricing is quoted in New Zealand Dollars (NZD) and includes GST unless otherwise stated.
All experiences are private and tailored. Final itineraries are confirmed in writing prior to travel.
All arrangements are handled with the highest level of confidentiality. Your privacy is of utmost importance to us.
By confirming a booking with Black NZ, you acknowledge and agree to the terms outlined below.
Reservations and Payment A deposit or full prepayment may be required to secure your reservation. Details will be outlined in your bespoke quote.
Full payment is typically due 14 days prior to travel unless otherwise arranged in writing.
For reservations confirmed within 14 days of travel, full payment is due immediately.
Cancellations and Adjustments Cancellations by the Client We understand that circumstances can change unexpectedly. Should you need to cancel:
More than 14 days prior to travel: Full refund, less any unrecoverable third-party costs.
7–14 days prior to travel: 50% refund, subject to third-party terms.
Less than 7 days prior or no-show: 100% cancellation fee applies.
Where possible, we will work with our partners to recover and refund costs on your behalf.
Cancellations by Black NZ In the rare instance that we must cancel due to operational or safety concerns, you will be offered a full refund or alternative arrangements of equal value.
We are not liable for costs associated with external delays, acts of nature, government restrictions, or events beyond our control.
Changes and Flexibility Black NZ aims to remain flexible at all times. Minor itinerary adjustments may be made where beneficial to the guest experience or required for operational reasons.
Requests for changes should be made as early as possible. While we will do our utmost to accommodate, changes are subject to availability and may incur additional cost.
Privacy, Confidentiality, and Discretion We maintain strict confidentiality regarding all client details, itineraries, and guest information.
Our team and third-party partners are contractually bound by confidentiality agreements where appropriate.
Photography and marketing material will never feature clients without prior written consent.
Health, Safety, and Special Requirements All experiences are delivered to the highest standards of health and safety, with full compliance to New Zealand regulations.
Guests must advise of any medical conditions, dietary requirements, or accessibility needs at the time of booking.
Discretion will be maintained regarding all personal health and mobility information shared with us.
Third-party Services Some components of your itinerary may be delivered by carefully selected third-party providers. While Black NZ takes all reasonable care in selecting its partners, we cannot be held liable for their individual operations or changes beyond our control.
We will always advocate on your behalf and handle communication discreetly and professionally.
Luxury Vehicles, Aviation, and Charter Services Black NZ reserves the right to adjust vehicle or aircraft types based on availability or operational factors. All replacements will meet or exceed the agreed standard.
Driver discretion may apply in relation to weather or safety conditions. Specific requests will be honoured wherever possible.
Travel Insurance We strongly recommend that all guests hold comprehensive travel insurance to cover unforeseen events, cancellation, and emergency medical care.
Force Majeure Black NZ is not liable for delays or non-performance resulting from events outside our control, including but not limited to natural disasters, pandemic-related restrictions, flight disruptions, or government directives.
